Product Details

  • The PLA biodegradable sheet extrusion line mainly consists of a dehumidifying drying and feeding system, a high-torque twin-screw extruder, a hydraulic screen changer, a coat-hanger T-die, a precision three-roll calendering and cooling unit, haul-off and edge-trimming equipment, a coating and drying unit, a winding system, and a PLC control system.
  • The screw geometry, die flow channels, processing temperatures, and cooling and forming system are optimized for the heat-sensitive, moisture-absorbing and hydrolysis-prone characteristics of PLA. Stable control of material moisture, residence time and melt temperature helps reduce yellowing, bubbles and excessive degradation.
  • The three-roll calendering and cooling unit improves surface quality, thickness uniformity and flatness while reducing roll sticking, deformation and irregular edges. The line can process virgin PLA, modified PLA and qualified biodegradable compounds.
  • Sheet width, thickness, output capacity, surface finish and downstream configuration can be customized according to the target product and thermoforming requirements.
