Product Advantages

  • The extrusion and forming process is optimized for the optical and surface-quality requirements of transparent sheet, providing excellent light transmission, surface gloss and flatness.
  • A dedicated screw design and precise temperature-control system for PMMA and GPPS help reduce yellowing, excessive degradation and sheet breakage.

Product Details

  • The PMMA/GPPS optical sheet extrusion line mainly consists of a dehumidifying drying and feeding system, a high-torque extruder, a hydraulic screen changer, a coat-hanger T-die, a mirror-finished three-roll calendering and cooling unit, haul-off and edge-trimming equipment, a winding or cut-to-length system, and a PLC control system.
  • The screw geometry, die flow channels, processing temperatures, roll temperatures and haul-off speed are coordinated to address the temperature sensitivity, brittleness and roll-sticking characteristics of PMMA and GPPS. This helps reduce yellowing, sheet breakage, roll sticking and surface defects.
  • The mirror-finished three-roll calender improves surface gloss, thickness uniformity and flatness while reducing deformation and warpage. Depending on the target product, the line can be configured for clear, matte, colored, light-diffusing, antistatic or UV-resistant sheets.
  • Sheet width, thickness, surface finish, collection method, functional structure and output capacity can be customized.
