rPET Twin-Screw Sheet Extrusion Line

Designed for rPET bottle flakes, recycled PET and PET production scraps, this line integrates drying, twin-screw extrusion, vacuum degassing, melt filtration and three-roll calendering.

Product Advantages

Product Details

  • The rPET twin-screw sheet extrusion line mainly consists of a material handling and drying system, a high-torque twin-screw extruder, a multi-stage vacuum degassing system, a hydraulic screen changer and melt-filtration unit, a coat-hanger T-die, a precision three-roll calendering and cooling unit, haul-off and edge-trimming equipment, a winding system, and a PLC control system.
  • The material drying, screw configuration, residence time, vacuum degassing, melt filtration and temperature-control process are coordinated to address the moisture content, contamination, viscosity fluctuation and hydrolytic degradation characteristics of recycled PET.
  • Multi-stage vacuum degassing and precision filtration help remove moisture, volatile substances and solid contaminants, reducing bubbles, yellowing and surface defects. The three-roll calendering and cooling unit improves surface quality, flatness and thickness uniformity.
  • Depending on the configuration, the line can process rPET bottle flakes, recycled PET pellets and clean PET production scraps. It can produce clear, matte and modified rPET sheets. Sheet width, thickness, output capacity, filtration accuracy and winding configuration can be customized.
